The first Kammer Klang for 2010, 2 Feb at Cafe OTO!
Madrigale by Aldo Clementi, originally for prepared piano, glockenspiel and vibraphone. In this performance, the winding-down music box process is imitated using delay lines and looping, introducing other degenerating sounds. Computer programming (SuperCollider) by Newton Armstrong.

The iconic, racing, unison movement, ‘Dance of fury for the seven trumpets’ from Messiaen’s Quartet for the End of Time subjected to a fantasy of casio tones.
